“Supporting the Foundation, for me, has meaning, it goes in the direction of my work, of my painting. Because my painting is the street. And the street, the marginalized, is the work of the Abbé Pierre Foundation. So, I say “yes” as soon as the Foundation asks me. With the Abbé Pierre Foundation, I am consistent with my work, with my sensitivity.”

On October 7, 2012, the Alsace Lorraine Agency opened the Foundation’s first social restaurant in the city of Metz to help those facing food insecurity. JonOne painted one of interior walls of the restaurant, integrating a portrait of Abbé Pierre into his composition.
